Header that says "Group Counselling Update." There are circles in purple and two shades of blue.

During this mandated period of social distancing, SACE continues to offer most of our services virtually. One exception is group counselling, as our efforts are focused on transitioning our Clinical Team to providing online individual sessions.

We want to assure our clients that we intend to resume in-person group counselling programs as soon as it is safe to do so. This includes Adult Survivors Healing from Abuse (ASHA), Sexual Assault Survivors Support Group (SASS), Wîwîp’son Healing from Sexual Trauma Circle for Indigenous Women, refleQT for LGBTQ2S+ adults, and Men’s Group.

If you are currently on a waitlist for a group, a facilitator will be in touch to provide more information about dates once the public health regulations have lifted. Should we develop an online format for our groups in the interim, we will share this information with clients on our group waiting lists as well.

All counselling groups (with the exception of Wîwîp’son Healing from Sexual Trauma Circle for Indigenous Women), are designed for clients who have already accessed individual counselling. If you are interested in group counselling at SACE, please speak with your counsellor.

To join the waitlist for Wîwîp’son, email info@sace.ca or learn more about the program here.
