SACE is proud to offer two new in-house workshops: Preventing and Responding to Sexual Violence for Health & Medical Colleges and Consent in the Workplace

Both workshops will be in-person, half-day sessions at the SACE office.

Preventing and Responding to Sexual Violence for Health & Medical Colleges

Thursday, April 6, 2023, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This workshop is tailored to staff of regulatory colleges and health professionals in Alberta regulated under the Health Professions Act.

Since the inception of Bill 21: An Act to Protect Patients, SACE has worked with several regulatory colleges to provide comprehensive, researched-based education to staff of regulatory colleges and health professionals regulated under the Health Professions Act. Participants learn how to respond to disclosures of sexual assault and sexual harassment, and develop a better understanding of the issue of sexual violence.
